About the role

Diversified Treatment Alternative Centers (DTAC) is seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our residential treatment programs serving adolescent males in Danville, PA. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, trauma-informed care in a structured environment focused on long-term recovery and wellness.

This is an in-person, full-time position based in Danville, PA.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with treatment plans and physician orders
• Administer medications and monitor for effectiveness and side effects
• Conduct health assessments and respond to medical or psychiatric concerns
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and treatment team members
• Educate residents on health, wellness, and recovery
• Support daily programming within the residential setting
• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and regulatory standards

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including PRN coverage as needed
• Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to trauma-informed and patient-centered care

Qualifications

Required:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania

Preferred:

• Experience in behavioral health, residential treatment, or psychiatric nursing
• Experience working with adolescents or substance use populations

Pay

$34.00-$42.00/hour (based on experience and education)

Schedule

• 4-day work week: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday
• Hours: 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM
