Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Assess resident needs and plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care
• Provide direct professional nursing care to Veteran residents
• Monitor resident conditions and promptly identify and report changes or concerns
• Cookordinate and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to meet resident care needs
• Maintain clear, accurate, and timely clinical documentation
• Communicate clinical issues and resident updates to appropriate personnel
• Respond to emergency situations and provide appropriate nursing interventions
• Participate in staff education and serve as a preceptor during new employee orientation
• Promote a safe, supportive, and resident-centered care environment
