About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) (Medical) provides holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to incarcerated patients
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to physical, psychological, and social needs of patients
- Work under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor
Requirements
- Associate's degree required
- Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one required
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Qualifications
