About the role
Join our team as a Registered Nurse (RN) and make a meaningful impact in healthcare, especially in underserved communities, through travel staffing opportunities. Contract durations are typically 14 weeks with options for extension or assignment to other sites. Practice within the standards of the Nurse Practice Act and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics.
Responsibilities
- Utilizing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to deliver personalized patient care.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals, including physicians, to develop and evaluate care plans.
- Providing care across all phases—preventative, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
- Coordinating patient assessments, education, triage, and various nursing interventions.
- Practicing within the scope of nursing standards and adhering to legal, ethical, and professional guidelines.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Unencumbered RN license in the practicing state, with multistate licensure if applicable.
- Minimum of one year of nursing experience and six months of travel experience.
- Ability to live at least 60 miles from the assigned facility.
- Required certifications and competencies maintained as per departmental standards.
