Brookside Rehab. & Nursing in Warrenton, VA is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide compassionate, resident-centered care in a skilled nursing and long-term care facility.
Schedule
- Full-Time and Part-Time positions available
- Day shift: 7a–3p
- Evening shift: 3p–11p
- Night shift: 11p–7a
- Available schedules may vary based on facility needs
Pay
- Hourly rate: $38.00 to $43.45
- Shift differentials available
- Sign-on bonus up to $5,000 (limited time offer)

Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to ensure resident needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies, and state, federal, and local guidelines
- Plan nursing interventions based on individual resident needs and monitor implementation
- Evaluate the effectiveness of care interventions, identify problems and trends, and develop alternative interventions
- Conduct family and resident education
- Administer medications and treatments timely and according to center policy
- Transcribe physician’s orders and chart progress notes accurately
- Identify and report changes in resident condition to supervisor, physician, and family
- Accurately identify skin changes and follow skin management protocols
- Order and report diagnostic tests timely
- Follow pharmacy policy and procedures for ordering and delivering medications
- Coordinate resident’s rehabilitation program with therapists
- Monitor CNA documentation completion and ensure assignments are completed on time
- Perform additional nursing care responsibilities as required by the State Nurse Practice Act
Requirements
- Active state RN license
- CPR/BLS Certification
- Experience in Long Term Care or Skilled Nursing preferred
- Excellent technical, assessment, and documentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift 25 or more pounds
- Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended time periods
- Team player with strong communication skills and a passion for senior care
