Registered Nurse
Overview
Central Maine Healthcare (CMH), a member of Prime Healthcare Foundation, is an integrated healthcare delivery system serving approximately 400,000 residents across central, western, and midcoast Maine. CMH includes Central Maine Medical Center (CMMC) in Lewiston, Bridgton Hospital, and Rumford Hospital.
Responsibilities
- Delivers safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice.
- Directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care within the Medical/Surgical Unit.
- Directly responsible and accountable for the care given to assigned patients.
- Communicates with physicians about changes in the patient’s clinical condition, including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies, and symptomatology.
- Able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN License.
- Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire and maintain current.
- Certified Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.
- Previous acute care hospital experience preferred.
- Ventilator management experience preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Bonus Information
Bonus Amount Up to $20,000 for Registered Nurses with 2 or more consecutive years of RN experience. Up to $10,000 for New Graduate Registered Nurses. Sign-On Bonus Available for Qualified Candidates. Eligibility and payout terms apply. Details discussed during the interview process.
Pay Transparency
Bridgton Hospital offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $36.00 to $49.16. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
