About the role
Brentwood Hospital is seeking a dynamic Registered Nurse to join their team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to helping individuals and families improve their mental health.
Responsibilities
- Completes nursing assessment thoroughly and in a timely manner within facility guidelines.
- Communicates effectively with physicians and ensures orders are accurate and carried out accordingly.
- Accurately documents on treatment plan illustrating patient progress or need for additional problem or intervention identification.
- Follows policy and procedure and involves next line of leadership as needed to resolve issues.
- Intervenes appropriately in crisis situations.
Qualifications
- Graduated from an Accredited Nursing program.
- Current license to practice nursing in Louisiana or eligible to receive or renew.
- PREFERRED: Experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting.
