Cardiovascular ICU Registered Nurse providing high-acuity cardiac and post-surgical critical care for complex cardiovascular patients. Key Responsibilities Assess patient conditions and develop, plan, and implement evidence-based care.Manage ventilators, vasoactive infusions, and invasive lines; provide continuous monitoring.Respond rapidly to clinical emergencies and acute changes in status.Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.Educate patients and families on care plans, treatments, and safety considerations.Ensure strict adherence to clinical, regulatory, and safety standards.Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EMR.Support a culture of safety, compassion, and excellence across diverse care settings. Qualifications & Skills Current RN licensure and ability to provide critical care nursing.Strong knowledge of cardiovascular/post-surgical critical care practices.Proficiency managing high-acuity therapies (ventilation, vasoactive drips, invasive lines).Excellent clinical judgment, rapid response skills, and patient-focused communication.Strong documentation skills and commitment to regulatory compliance.
