About the role

Avenir Behavioral Health Center is a Level 1 inpatient psychiatric hospital and licensed detoxification center serving all of Arizona. We provide acute psychiatric and detoxification services, a multidisciplinary team assessment, and personalized discharge planning.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with acute and chronic depressive illness, suicide risk, severely confused thinking, severe psychosis, danger to self or others, delusions/hallucinations, aggressive or assaultive behaviors, sudden unexplained changes in behavior, dementia, dual diagnosis detox, and detox.
• Offer individual and group therapeutic care in a safe, comfortable, calming, and soothing environment.
• Ensure a smooth transition through personalized discharge planning with tailored strategies and ongoing support.
• Provide care and treatment to restore mental health.

Requirements

• Professional, qualified, and compassionate Providers, Nurses, Social Workers, Discharge Planners, and other staff.
• Joint Commission accreditation in Maricopa County.
