About the role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) who is passionate about patient care, experienced in clinical procedures, and excited to work with remote monitoring technology in an innovative allergy and asthma practice. The ideal candidate combines strong clinical skills with comfort using digital health tools to monitor patients and manage connected devices. You'll play a key role in both direct patient care and our technology-enabled remote monitoring program.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians
- Administer allergy immunotherapy injections and monitor patients for adverse reactions
- Perform and interpret pulmonary function testing, spirometry, and other diagnostic procedures
- Educate patients on allergy management, asthma action plans, and proper medication use
- Manage and monitor patients through our remote patient monitoring (RPM) platform
- Review data from connected devices (smart inhalers, wearables) and flag concerning trends
- Career with patients, physicians, and specialists
- Assist with allergy skin testing and interpret results under physician supervision
- Respond to patient inquiries and provide clinical guidance via phone and patient portal
- Maintain accurate documentation in EMR and ensure compliance with clinical protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical workflow optimization
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and all regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Required: Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing, current BLS/CPR certification, minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience, strong assessment and critical thinking skills, excellent patient communication and education abilities
- Preferred: Experience in allergy, asthma, immunology, or pulmonology, familiarity with remote patient monitoring (RPM) platforms, experience with EMR systems (Elation, Athena, or similar), BSN degree, Spanish or Mandarin bilingual ability
