Registered Nurse

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing the healthcare needs of clients and their families, ensuring they receive high-quality care to remain in their homes and communities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with state and AFNB standards and guidelines.
• Perform comprehensive client assessments annually and after hospital admissions or ED visits.
• Develop and revise Comprehensive Plans of Care based on assessments.
• Delegate, educate, and monitor non-complex tasks to Caregivers as needed.
• Document client-specific assessments and delegations according to state and AFNB guidelines.
• Ensure Caregivers meet training and competency requirements before performing tasks.
• Document all aspects of client care and interactions.
• Perform other incidental duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A valid State RN License in the working state.
• One year experience in home care, health care, or senior-related industry.
• Knowledge or experience with payroll systems and processes.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Office/administrative support skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Consistent, reliable transportation to client homes within the territory.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.
