Registered Nurse - ASU

Position: Registered Nurse responsible for delivering safe, compassionate, and effective nursing care across various patient populations. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans, involving patients and families in decision-making.Perform patient assessments, collect health data, and communicate findings to the healthcare team.Provide patient and family education tailored to their cultural background and learning needs.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and technical staff, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Participate in performance improvement activities, nursing research, and clinical education.Assist with technical procedures such as injections, venipuncture, IV management, and wound care.Maintain regulatory compliance, document care accurately, and support evidence-based practices. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an approved nursing program; BSN preferred.Active Illinois RN license and certifications in BLS and ACLS.Preferred experience in ICU, ER, radiology, or wound/ostomy nursing.Additional certifications such as CWON or CWCN are a plus.Strong communication, assessment, teaching, and collaborative skills. Additional Requirements: Basic computer skills, ability to work independently, and commitment to regulatory standards.
