About the Role
Provides health care services to the organization's employees in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Responsibilities
- Provides treatment for job-related injuries and illnesses.
- Conducts pre-employment health screenings and immunization clinics.
- Ensures compliance with applicable workplace safety laws and regulations.
- May conduct safety training programs.
- Provides employee counseling and referrals for occupational injuries and illnesses as well as other health-related matters.
- Monitors trends and causes of employee safety events and works with colleagues to identify areas of safety risk.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date (American Heart Association accepted).
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- One to two years of occupational health experience.
Schedule
Four 10-hour days per week, no weekends, no nights, no on-call.
Position is located at the Livonia Employer Solutions/Occupational Health clinic.
