Registered Nurse - Assoc & Occupational Health - Contingent Day Shift - Livonia/Novi

About the Role

Provides health care services to the organization's employees in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.

Responsibilities

• Provides treatment for job-related injuries and illnesses.
• Conducts pre-employment health screenings and immunization clinics.
• Ensures compliance with applicable workplace safety laws and regulations.
• May conduct safety training programs.
• Provides employee counseling and referrals for occupational injuries and illnesses as well as other health-related matters.
• Monitors trends and causes of employee safety events and works with colleagues to identify areas of safety risk.

Requirements

• BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date (American Heart Association accepted).
• Registered Nurse credential from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Qualifications

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.
• Preferred: One to two years of occupational health experience.
