Job Summary

Utilizes the nursing process to effectively assess the needs of patients, identify a plan of care, and implement and evaluate the care given. Provides direct and indirect care to patients and leads the patient care team toward goal achievement in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and indirect care to patients and leads the patient care team toward goal achievement in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy.
• Learns from and works closely with other disciplines throughout the hospital to ensure excellent patient care.
• Works collaboratively with the patient care team to achieve excellent outcomes.
• Leads employees to accomplish all job objectives; inspires confidence and motivation to enhance employee satisfaction.

Requirements

• Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Preferred: At least five years of clinical experience, one year of charge nurse experience, and one year experience in the area of specialization

Qualifications

• Licenses/Certifications/Registrations: RN license active in the state of Missouri
