Nurse Manager

Position Summary

Provide assistance to the director in the management of the daily operations of the Emergency Department.

Primary Position Responsibilities

• Oversight and responsibility for staffing and operations
• Human Resources Resource Management
• Regulatory Compliance/TJC/ EMTALA Outcomes
• Community Outreach

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Preferred: Master’s Degree in Nursing
• Required: Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation): 2-3 years previous Emergency Department experience
• PREFERRED: Minimum of 2-3 years leadership experience.
• Required: License, Registry or Certification: Current NJ RN License, CPR, ACLS, PALS, IV Certified
• PREFERRED: CEN. Must obtain CEN within 3-5 years of hire.

Knowledge, Skills And/or Abilities

• Required: Systems thinker, role model, and coach.
• PREFERRED: Excellent communication and IPR skills.
• Must be able to function in a shared governance environment.
• Working knowledge of JCAHO, DOH, OSHA AND EMTALA.

Hiring Range

$113,136.61 - $141,420.77 Annually
