Registered Nurse Ambulatory Triage (RN) - Family Medicine Care CLMP - Greenwood

About the role

The Ambulatory Triage Registered Nurse functions as a member of the Family Medicine Care team, conducting duties such as: phone triage, patient education, scheduling appointments, prior authorizations, prescription refill, referrals, care coordination and other related tasks as needed. The RN will work a hybrid schedule once training has been completed and that includes both working onsite at the county line medical pavilion and remotely from home. The office is located on the south side in Greenwood, Indiana.

Responsibilities

• Conducts phone triage
• Provides patient education
• Schedules appointments
• Handles prior authorizations
• Manages prescription refills
• Facilitates referrals
• Care coordination as needed

Requirements

• Graduate of NLN, CCNE, ACEN, or NLN CNEA accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience
• Licensed as an RN with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
• Three years or more of nursing experience preferred
• Previous medical office/outpatient experience preferred
• Phone triage experience a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent team skills
• Compassionate and caring
• Accountable and self-directed
• EPIC experience a plus

Qualifications
