About the role
The Ambulatory Triage Registered Nurse functions as a member of the Anderson Cardiac Clinic care team, conducting duties such as phone triage, patient education, scheduling appointments, referrals, prescription refill, care coordination, chart prep, rooming patients, and other related tasks as needed. The office is located in Anderson, Indiana.Responsibilities
- Conducts phone triage
- Provides patient education
- Schedules appointments
- Refers patients
- Handles prescription refills
- Care coordination
- Prepares patient charts
- Rooms patients
- Performs other related tasks as needed
Requirements
- Graduate of NLN, CCNE, ACEN, or NLN CNEA accredited school of nursing
- Licensed RN with a valid Indiana license in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
- Three years of related professional nursing experience
- Cardiology experience preferred
- Medical office/outpatient experience preferred
- Phone triage experience a plus
