About the role
The Ambulatory Registered Nurse functions as a member of the Pulmonary Critical Care & Sleep Medicine team, conducting duties such as phone triage, patient education, scheduling appointments, referrals, prescription refill, care coordination, chart prep, rooming patients, and other related tasks as needed. The office is located in Anderson, Indiana.
Responsibilities
- Conducts phone triage
- Provides patient education
- Schedules appointments
- Manages referrals
- Handles prescription refills
- Care coordination
- Prepares patient charts
- Rooms patients
- Performs other related duties as needed
Requirements
- Graduate of NLN, CCNE, ACEN, or NLN CNEA accredited school of nursing
- Licensed RN with a valid Indiana license in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
- One to two years of nursing experience required
- Previous medical office/outpatient experience preferred
- Phone triage experience a plus
