Registered Nurse, Ambulatory, Per Diem, Days, 8am-4pm, AMG Radiology and CSHC, Jackson, NJ

Assists management with maintaining par inventory levels in a fiscally responsible manner.

Responsibilities

• Takes appropriate clinical actions using available resources to achieve positive outcomes for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Independently prioritizes daily tasks and assignments.
• Identifies and recommends opportunities for improvement to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.
• Responds to urgent and unplanned situations appropriately.
• Makes decisions to ensure patient safety and promote quality patient care.
• Utilizes computer systems as required.
• Functions as an integral member of the interdisciplinary healthcare team in providing patient care.
• Systematically and continuously collects and assesses data related to patient health status to develop, execute, and evaluate the plan of care.
• Utilizes evidence to drive clinical decisions and practice related to individual and population health.
• Considers factors related to safety and effectiveness in planning and delivering care.
• Provides care in accordance with the NJ Nurse Practice Act.
• Successfully completes all required training to obtain security access, including EMR training, AMG clinical training, and department-specific clinical competencies.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate the plan of care for patients served.
• Collaborates with all members of the healthcare team through the model of Shared Governance, focusing on promoting evidence-based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.
• Demonstrates excellent communication, organization, and computer skills.
• Works in a highly specialized area with a focus on patient safety and efficiency.

Requirements

• High School diploma required.
• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required.
• Valid NJ RN License.

Qualifications

• BSN highly preferred.
• 3+ years of experience working in an outpatient or ambulatory setting.
• 2+ years in an acute care setting, preferably critical care.
• BLS Certification (required after hire).
