Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Float Pool

Role Overview: This position is for a registered nurse (RN) responsible for coordinating comprehensive nursing care, including direct patient care, education, and care transitions. The RN supports professional practice across various settings, ensuring all phases of nursing care are planned, implemented, evaluated, and communicated effectively. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care and education to patients and families.Support transitions of care and ensure quality improvement initiatives.Lead and mentor team members, delegate tasks based on skill and acuity.Participate in committees or projects, demonstrating leadership and communication skills.Possibly drive personal vehicles as part of role requirements. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited baccalaureate nursing program; equivalent RN experience may be considered.Current RN license and ability to obtain advanced certifications (e.g., ACLS).Excellent verbal and written communication skills, teamwork, critical thinking, and leadership abilities.Proficiency in computer systems, experience with electronic medical records preferred.Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends.BSN preferred; additional state licensure or certifications may be required.
