About the Role

Join our team as an After-Hours Hospice RN, where it's not just a job — it's a calling! As an After-Hours Hospice RN, you'll be a voice for your patients, communicating with everyone involved in the plan of care, including the patient, their family, and the hospice care team. You'll serve as a patient advocate, ensuring every patient receives quality care. This salaried full-time position covers on-call after-hours from 5 PM Friday to 8 AM Monday morning, with support from our 24/7 RN-staffed Triage Department and local hospice team.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring quality care for every patient
  • Communicate with patients, their families, and the hospice care team
  • Provide compassionate care and create meaningful experiences for patients and their families

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current state license as a registered nurse (compact/multi-state license required)
  • 2+ years of nursing experience in a clinical care setting (hospice experience required)
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently, and lift at least 80-100 lbs, bearing the weight of an average adult effectively
