Join Our Team as an After-Hours Hospice RN (PRN)

Responsibilities

• Serve as the patient advocate ensuring every patient receives the quality care they deserve.
• Communicate with everyone involved in the plan of care including the patient, the patient’s family, and the hospice care team.
• Cover on-call shifts after hours from 5pm Friday to 8am Monday morning.
• Work alongside a 24/7 RN staffed Triage Department and your local hospice team.

Requirements

• Heart to serve patients and families and a passion for providing the best possible care.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current state license as a registered nurse.
• 2+ years of nursing experience in a clinical care setting (hospice experience preferred).
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently and lift at least 80-100 lbs and bear the weight of an average adult effectively.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years of nursing experience in a clinical care setting (hospice experience preferred).

Pay

Pay is determined by years of experience and location.
