Registered Nurse After-Hours Hospice (RN)

About the role

We are seeking compassionate Registered Nurses to join our team as After-Hours Hospice RNs. This is a salaried full-time position covering on-call shifts from 5pm Friday to 8am Monday. You will be supported by our 24/7 RN staffed Triage Department and work alongside your local hospice team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the patient advocate ensuring quality care for patients facing life-limiting illnesses.
• Communicate with the patient, patient’s family, and the hospice care team to coordinate care plans.
• Ensure every patient receives the quality care they deserve.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current state license as a registered nurse.
• 2+ years of nursing experience in a clinical care setting (hospice experience preferred).
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently, and lift at least 80-100 lbs and bear the weight of an average adult effectively.
