Registered Nurse After-Hours Hospice (RN)

About the role
As an After-Hours Hospice RN, you’ll be a voice for your patients, ensuring they receive the quality care they deserve. You’ll communicate with patients, their families, and the hospice care team to advocate for patient needs. This salaried, full-time position covers on-call hours from 5 PM Friday to 8 AM Monday, with full support from our 24/7 RN-staffed Triage Department and your local hospice team.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a patient advocate to ensure quality care.
- Communicate with patients, families, and the hospice care team to coordinate the plan of care.
- Provide compassionate, present care to create meaningful experiences for patients and families.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current state RN license.
- 2+ years of nursing experience in a clinical care setting (hospice experience preferred).
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently, and lift at least 80–100 lbs.
