About the Role

Join our team as an After-Hours Hospice RN, where your work is more than a job—it's a calling. You’ll serve as a patient advocate, ensuring every patient receives quality care while communicating with patients, their families, and the hospice care team to create meaningful experiences.

This is a salaried full-time position covering on-call hours from 5 PM Friday to 8 AM Monday. You’ll be fully supported by our 24/7 RN-staffed Triage Department and your local hospice team, with access to supportive leadership and professional development opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a voice for patients, ensuring they receive the quality care they deserve.
  • Communicate with patients, families, and the hospice care team to coordinate the plan of care.
  • Advocate for patients and provide compassionate, present care during after-hours shifts.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current state license as a registered nurse.
  • 2+ years of nursing experience in a clinical care setting (hospice experience preferred).
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently, and lift at least 80-100 lbs, including assisting with patient mobility.
  • A heart to serve patients and families with a passion for providing the best possible care.
