Registered Nurse - Advanced Clinician - Medical/Surgical

Role Overview Provides direct and indirect patient care in various settings, collaborating with healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes. Utilizes critical thinking, nursing processes, and compassionate care to ensure high-quality service. Preserves patient autonomy, dignity, and rights while restoring health when possible. Performs general nursing duties, patient education, and prioritization, and assists with procedures requiring technical skills. Key Responsibilities Assess patients accurately based on their condition.Administer prescribed medications safely.Deliver age-appropriate and condition-specific care, including basic self-care activities.Develop and evaluate patient and family teaching plans.Perform treatments and nursing interventions using clinical knowledge.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive care.Address psychosocial needs and coordinate with social services for discharge planning.Practice cost-effective and resource-conscious care.Prioritize patient safety and minimize risks.Engage in ongoing professional learning and development. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 3 years’ experience in current or specialty unit, or 4 years in acute care setting, with recent clinical education hours.Graduate of an accredited nursing program.Computer literacy.RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.Preferred certifications include ACLS or PALS.
