Registered Nurse - Advanced Care Unit

Role Overview: Provides professional nursing care within an interdisciplinary team, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Key Responsibilities: Promotes evidence-based practice, performs comprehensive patient assessments, develops individualized care plans, and uses appropriate interventions to achieve outcomes. Documents patient progress and adjusts care as needed, ensuring safety and quality. Collaborates with team members, delegates tasks appropriately, and advocates for patients. Patient Education & Safety: Assesses learning needs, adapts teaching strategies to patient demographics, and ensures safety by following policies and protocols. Utilizes hospital resources and educational systems for patient and family education. Performance Improvement: Participates in data collection, analysis, and quality initiatives, promoting patient satisfaction and best practices. Engages in unit projects, process improvements, and team-based problem solving. Qualifications & Skills: Valid RN license, BLS certification, and a college diploma in Nursing. Demonstrates clinical expertise, effective communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and commitment to ongoing professional development.
