Registered Nurse - Advanced Acute Care Telemetry Trauma Float

About the role

This position involves providing direct inpatient nursing care, including administering treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies, while assessing and addressing patients' physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.

Responsibilities

• Develops, coordinates, and implements individualized care plans with patient and family education, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of nursing interventions and adjusts care accordingly.
• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare team members to proactively meet patient needs.
• Delegates tasks based on staff skill and patient acuity, promoting teamwork and efficient care delivery.
• Participates in decision-making, quality improvement initiatives, and safety programs to enhance patient outcomes.
• Engages in unit-based evidence-based practices and supports organizational goals, including Magnet standards.
• Performs assessments, manages patient care, troubleshoots equipment, and actively participates in safety and quality initiatives in a clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a nursing specialty training program.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork abilities.
• Experience in inpatient care preferred.
