Registered Nurse - Advanced Acute Care Cardiovascular

About the role

This position is for a full-time Inpatient Registered Nurse responsible for assessing, planning, providing, and evaluating patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. The RN promotes safety, patient satisfaction, and compassionate interactions, coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams and ensuring optimal patient and family experiences. The unit specializes in advanced cardiac and vascular care, requiring candidates to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans including patient education and discharge planning.
• Administer treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures following policies.
• Evaluate and adjust nursing interventions based on patient responses.
• Collaborate proactively with physicians and healthcare team members to address patient needs.
• Problem-solve equipment issues and participate in evidence-based practice decision-making.
• Contribute to quality and safety initiatives through active participation and education.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Specialty Training Program in Nursing (required)
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Experience in a cardiology or acute care setting is advantageous

Schedule
