Registered Nurse - Adult/Psych - Night Shift

Position: Registered Nurse responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care in a behavioral health setting. Responsibilities: Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; maintain current competency; promote a safe environment; supervise staff; document thoroughly; and contribute to professional development. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program, current Illinois Nursing license, effective communication skills, and preferably at least one year of nursing experience, with strong preference for psychiatric experience. CPR certification is required; ACLS, PALS, NRP may be needed. Skills: Mastery of nursing skills, ethical practice, evidence-based care integration, ability to recognize and adapt to varied situations, and supervisory capability.
