About the role
Join as a Registered Nurse in Behavioral Health, providing direct care to adult patients in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Conducting admission and shift assessments, monitoring patient behaviors, and accurately documenting care.
- Applying critical thinking to analyze patient data and notify physicians of condition changes.
- Participating in multidisciplinary treatment planning, supervising care delivery by LPNs and techs, and educating patients and families.
- Ensuring safety within the environment and adhering to nursing standards, policies, and evidence-based practices.
- Utilizing professional nursing standards and the ANA Code of Ethics to guide patient care.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent.
- Current RN license in Missouri or a compact state, with BLS certification.
- No prior experience required.
- Physical ability to perform essential tasks, including standing, walking, lifting, and communication.
Schedule
- Day shifts with self-scheduling, weekend and holiday work, but no on-call duties.
