Registered Nurse - Adult Behavioral Health

About the role

Join as a Registered Nurse in Behavioral Health, providing direct care to adult patients in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting admission and shift assessments, monitoring patient behaviors, and accurately documenting care.
  • Applying critical thinking to analyze patient data and notify physicians of condition changes.
  • Participating in multidisciplinary treatment planning, supervising care delivery by LPNs and techs, and educating patients and families.
  • Ensuring safety within the environment and adhering to nursing standards, policies, and evidence-based practices.
  • Utilizing professional nursing standards and the ANA Code of Ethics to guide patient care.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent.
  • Current RN license in Missouri or a compact state, with BLS certification.
  • No prior experience required.
  • Physical ability to perform essential tasks, including standing, walking, lifting, and communication.

Schedule

  • Day shifts with self-scheduling, weekend and holiday work, but no on-call duties.
