Registered Nurse - Adult Behavioral Health

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate psychiatric nursing care to adult patients with mental health conditions
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and administer medications
• Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team
• Perform crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques to ensure patient safety
• Deliver psychoeducation and advocate for patient needs
• Coordinate discharge planning and connect patients with community resources
• Accurately document care and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
• Support a respectful, recovery-focused environment

Qualifications & Skills

• Current Registered Nurse licensure
• Experience or knowledge in behavioral health or psychiatric nursing preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, and crisis intervention skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and engage patients compassionately
