Registered Nurse - Adult Behavioral Health

Responsibilities

• Conducting patient assessments, documenting care, and adhering to policies.
• Using critical thinking to analyze patient data and communicate changes to physicians.
• Participating in multidisciplinary treatment planning and evaluating progress.
• Ensuring patient and environment safety, supervising care provided by LPNs and techs.
• Educating patients and families, applying evidence-based practices, and following professional nursing standards.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and complying with safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensing.
• Current RN licensure in Missouri or a Compact State; BLS certification.
• No prior experience required.

Skills and Physical Requirements

• Strong communication, critical thinking, and observational skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, moving patients, and standing for extended periods.
• Use of vision, hearing, and smell for patient safety and assessment.
