Registered Nurse - Acute Psych Geriatric

Responsibilities

• Maintains a high standard of professional practice, adhering to applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies.
• Utilizes the nursing process to provide comprehensive care, addressing psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs.
• Administers medications and treatments according to protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, and care provided accurately and comprehensively.
• Evaluates patient progress and adjusts care plans accordingly.
• Identifies learning needs and educates patients, family members, and caregivers about their health conditions and treatments.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred.
• One year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• RN license in state of employment or compact.
