Registered Nurse - Acute Orthopedic Telemetry Unit

About the role

Provides comprehensive inpatient nursing care, assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, and coordinating treatment with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Complete patient assessments and address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.
• Deliver direct patient care, including treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions and adjust plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to resolve patient needs proactively.
• Participate in decision‑making, quality improvement, and safety initiatives within the unit.
• Promote patient and family education, discharge planning, and ensure optimal patient experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing specialty training program (required).
