Responsibilities
- Maintains competency in OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
- Provides nursing care using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
- Addresses psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families based on their level of practice.
- Administers medications and treatments according to protocols, monitors for side effects and effectiveness, and documents patient care.
- Affirms learning needs and educates patients, family members, and caregivers about their health conditions and treatment plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred.
- One year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred.
- BLS certification required.
- RN license in state of employment or compact.
- Full-time work schedule from 7PM to 7AM.
