Acute Registered Nurse
Job Requirements
- Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and judgment to care for dialysis patients in an acute care setting.
- Critical care experience (ICU/CCU) is preferred but not required.
- Home dialysis experience preferred but not required.
- Must meet all state/licensing requirements.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
About the Role
This position exercises a knowledge of patient rights and ensures an atmosphere that allows for the privacy, dignity, and well-being of all patients in a safe, secure environment. This individual cooperates and works together with all co-workers to plan and complete job duties with applicable supervisory direction, including exercising job-appropriate judgment.
Requirements
- Registered Professional Nurse with current state licensure.
- Minimum of 12 months of nursing experience, including at least 3 months in hemodialysis; 18 months of nursing experience and 6 months in dialysis preferred.
- Work experience in an acute care setting preferred.
- Must meet all state/licensing requirements.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 12 months of nursing experience, including at least 3 months in hemodialysis; 18 months of nursing experience and 6 months in dialysis preferred.
- Skills: Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and judgment to care for dialysis patients in an acute care setting.

Pay
$30 - $55 / hour depending on experience and qualifications.
