Role Overview

The Post Anesthesia RN Manager is a registered nurse responsible for leading a specific clinical unit, promoting excellence in patient care, safety, and staff retention.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and manage clinical, financial, human, and material resources.
• Foster a collaborative environment through effective communication and relationship building with staff, physicians, and other departments.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards by utilizing data and technology for decision-making.
• Promote staff competency, professional development, and adherence to ethical and professional standards.
• Drive performance improvement initiatives, evidence-based practice, and risk management strategies.
• Manage budgets, analyze resources, and implement quality and efficiency improvements.
• Represent the organization positively in the community and support organizational goals.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of progressive nursing management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Master's preferred).
• Active RN license (single-state or multi-state compact).
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of healthcare financing, quality improvement, and regulatory standards.
• Ability to employ change management and foster a culture of safety and excellence.
