About the Role
Responsible for delivering patient-centered nursing care, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure safety and cost-effective care delivery.
- Handle medications in accordance with established guidelines.
- Apply age-appropriate competencies in patient care.
- Develop specialized skills in cardiac rhythm interpretation and high-acuity patient management through telemetry certification and clinical training.
- Support organizational values and participate in operational and performance improvement activities.
- Advocate for patients and their families.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Valid RN license.
- RN Diploma.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
