Registered Nurse - Acute Care

About the Role

Responsible for delivering patient-centered nursing care, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure safety and cost-effective care delivery.
  • Handle medications in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Apply age-appropriate competencies in patient care.
  • Develop specialized skills in cardiac rhythm interpretation and high-acuity patient management through telemetry certification and clinical training.
  • Support organizational values and participate in operational and performance improvement activities.
  • Advocate for patients and their families.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Valid RN license.
  • RN Diploma.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
