Registered Nurse - $5000 Sign-On Bonus

Responsibilities

The Infusion Nurse reports to the Nursing Manager and is responsible for providing clinical services. The infusion nurse is responsible for the quality; adequacy of services provided and may, when required, supervise staff. Administers clinical care, prepares progress notes and summaries of care. Keeps the Nursing Manager, physician, and other personnel informed of changes in the client’s condition.

Requirements

• Infusion nurse with current unencumbered licensure to practice professional nursing in the state of hire (Florida or New Jersey).
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Must have graduated from an accredited Nursing program.
• Minimum of five (5) years of documented experience required. Three (3) to five (5) years of clinical experience with two (2) years experience in infusion care, preferred.
• Possess exceptional nursing assessment skills.
• Comply with accepted professional standards of practice.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Analytic/Critical thinker.
• Excellent IV skills/ Ability to start IV lines on difficult patients.
• Pediatric experience a plus.
• Port access experience.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to deal tactfully with clients, staff, and the community.
• Treat clients, staff, and the public with courtesy, respect and present a positive public image.
• Understands regulatory compliance, federal regulations including but not limited to OSHA, HIPAA.

• Position includes tasks that have the potential for exposure to blood and other potentially infectious material (OPIM) such as body fluids/tissues.
