Part-time (0.613333 FTE) position with benefits, represented by ACE Associates. Non-exempt from overtime.

Schedule

• Days and evenings with weekend and holiday rotation
• 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

About the Role

The registered nurse is a designated professional nurse who provides daily nursing care to patients following established policies, procedures, and standards of practice. The RN coordinates patient care through assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluation. The RN participates in patient and family teaching, provides leadership by working cooperatively with healthcare team members, and maintains standards for professional practice in the clinical setting. The RN supports high-quality care through participation and implementation of quality initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily nursing care to patients
• Coordinate patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Participate in patient and family teaching
• Work cooperatively with healthcare team members
• Maintain standards for professional practice in the clinical setting
• Support high-quality care through participation and implementation of quality initiatives

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited Registered Professional Nursing Program
• BSN preferred
• Current New York State Registration as a professional registered nurse
• Current BLS validation
• Previous RN experience preferred
