About the role
PCU Registered Nurse (RN) in hospital settings, providing high-quality patient care across various units.
Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions accurately
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient status
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
- Maintain precise electronic medical records
- Follow infection control and patient safety protocols
- Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
- Adapt professionally to different hospital environments and units
Qualifications
- Active Virginia RN license
- At least 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
- Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within 12 months
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
- Additional credentials may be required based on facility needs
Pay
Competitive pay with daily or weekly payment options for per diem work.
Schedule
- Flexible scheduling with shift options from 7a‑7p and 7p‑7a
