About the role
Registered Dietitian (RD) position in a dialysis center.
Responsibilities
- Provide nutrition education to hemodialysis patients.
- Conduct monthly assessments, review labs, and recommend vitamins and supplements.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
- Monitor patient weights and adjust dietary and fluid plans accordingly.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient education projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or dietetics required; Master’s preferred.
- Active licensure appropriate to practice location.
- At least 1 year of clinical dietetics experience, preferably with ESRD patients.
- Flexible schedule and willingness to work as needed.
- Excellent communication and bedside manner skills.
- Ability to pass color vision testing.
