Registered Dietitian Nutritionist

About the Role

VNA Health Group is seeking a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (30-hour work week) to join our dedicated team covering Elizabeth, Jersey City, and parts of Englewood. Responsibilities

• Support the organization’s mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of the job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationships with co-workers.
• Deliver a high level of customer service to ensure a positive patient experience.
• Complete comprehensive nutritional evaluations on all identified patients per VNAHG policy.
• Maintain communication among team members, patients, and caregivers to implement the nutrition plan of care.
• Adhere to agency infection control and safety policies.
• Follow the organization’s policy regarding absenteeism and appearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Food, and Nutrition.
• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Experience with culturally diverse populations.
• Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Computer experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.

Working Conditions / Physical Demands

• Working indoors and outdoors.
• Driving, lifting, sitting, standing, and walking.
• Fine motor hand movement.
• Use of phone and tablet for documentation.

Pay

In compliance with New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, the total compensation range for this position is USD $60,000.00 to USD $110,000.00. Factors considered when determining an offer include the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education/training, relevant skills, internal pay equity, and market and organizational conditions.
