Registered Dietitian, Certified Diabetes Educator, Full Time Day Shift
About the role
The Adventist Health Northwest Heart Center, located on our medical center campus, provides advanced cardiovascular care, bringing together expert providers, innovative treatments and compassionate support for patients across the region.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates and monitors outpatient nutrition counseling services provided to outpatients/clients served including nutrition assessment and screening, development of nutrition and diet plans and counseling.
- Serves as a liaison and provides documentation in medical record to client’s personal physician.
Requirements
- Education and Work Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in food and nutrition or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelor’s): Required Master's Degree: Required, only if eligibility for examination began on or after 1/1/24 Experience as a Clinical Dietitian: Preferred Dietetic internship or its equivalent: Required
- Licenses/Certifications: Registered Dietitian (RD): Required Certified Diabetes Care & Education Specialist (CDCES): Required Oregon Dietitan Licensure: Required in OR Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) or CDCES: Required

Pay
The estimated base pay for this position is $34.67 to $51.97. Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
