Registered Dental Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team at 1st in Smiles in Plano, TX. Responsibilities

• Welcomes patients
• Prepares patients for treatments or checkups ensuring comfort
• Selects and sets up instrumentation, equipment, and other dental materials as needed
• Maintains accurate patient records
• Labs tasks as instructed
• Provides post-operative care instructions
• Maintains clean and stocked operatories
• Assists dentists chairside
• Sterilizes equipment and instruments according to protocols

Requirements

• Active Texas dental assistant license
• Dental Assistant training/school certification
• 2 or more years of dental assisting clinical experience
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Understanding of health & safety regulations

• Excellent interpersonal skills
