Job Responsibilities

  • Greet and prepare patients for exams, completing digital charting and verifying codes with precision.
  • Capture quality x-ray images.
  • Aid the dentist with a variety of treatment procedures.
  • Set up and sterilize exam and treatment rooms.
  • Discuss treatment options, their importance, and recommended follow-up care.
  • Perform teeth polishing and sealant placement procedures (with required certifications).
  • Schedule patient treatment appointments as requested.
  • Sterilize instruments and adhere to cross-contamination standards.
  • Create positive and uplifting patient environments by engaging with patients before, during, and after visits.
  • Guide parents and patients through post-care instructions.
  • Aid patients with company-provided prizes and dismissals.
  • Understand and comply with HIPAA guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Texas Issued Registered Dental Assistant Licensing.
  • Sealant Placement, Nitrous Monitoring, and Coronal Polishing Certifications preferred (if 2+ years of experience, company provides courses).
  • Digital x-ray and Digital Charting Experience.

About this role

The Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) supports the Dentist during treatments, exams, and treatment discussions with patients. This position collaborates with other team members to perform general RDA duties. We seek team members focused on quality customer service and maintaining strong professional relationships.

Pay

$17-18/hr (based on experience)
