About the role

Responsibilities

• Routinely visiting patients to plan and modify diets as prescribed by Medical Staff.
• Counseling patients with nutritional needs.
• Participating in hospital, patient, and community education and outpatient programs.
• Aiding in the maintenance of the department's Quality Assessment & Quality Improvement plan.

Requirements

• Registered with Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Licensed by the State in which the facility resides to practice Dietetics.
• 3 years' experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Rehabilitation experiences a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or related field.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
