Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT)
About the role
As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with Aviation ABA Therapy, you will provide in-home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children in Salt Lake County and nearby areas. Your primary responsibility is to deliver 1:1 therapy sessions that help children develop communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based ABA strategies.
Responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy as directed by your supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Implement skill-building programs using play-based and structured teaching methods
- Collect and record data electronically after each session
- Maintain regular communication with your BCBA and clinical team
- Participate in parent training sessions and generalization activities as needed
- Assist with assessments, materials preparation, and therapy session organization
- Follow individualized behavior intervention plans and safety protocols
- Maintain professional boundaries and uphold client confidentiality (HIPAA compliance)
- Step into lead therapist responsibilities when requested
Requirements
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (or willingness to become certified with our support)
- Reliable transportation within Salt Lake County and surrounding areas
- Ability to kneel, squat, sit on the floor, and lift up to 25 lbs
- Strong communication skills and a passion for working with children
- Eligible to work in the U.S., with valid driver’s license and insurance
